AIA Tennessee recognizes Asurion Gulch Hub 2022 Design Awards
On Thursday, August 11th at their annual Conference on Architecture, AIA Tennessee recognized Asurion Gulch Hub with a 2022 Interior Design Award.
The 550,000 square foot office supports employees with spaces that range from large communal gathering spaces and food halls to micro-markets, coffee bars, board and meeting rooms, game room, repair lounge, secure command center and a fitness center. Biophilic design strategies and access to over 80,000-square-feet of outdoor green space improve the wellness of users in and outside the building.
The jury recognized “the clear intent to the degree of choice and flexibility it provides to individuals and teams over this large area,” and commends “the performative ideas centered on wellbeing including movement and physical proximity and actual access to the outdoors.”
