Asurion Gulch Hub at 1101 Church Street

Situated at a crucial intersection, the Asurion Gulch Hub Headquarters tech campus connects Downtown Nashville and the lower Gulch neighborhood with Midtown and Capitol View—unifying the most exciting areas within Nashville’s urban core which have historically been divided by overpasses, railroads, and industrial areas. Developed by Highwoods Properties, the Gulch Hub is designed to foster productivity, collaboration, and innovation to attract and retain talent while enhancing and engaging the neighborhood and broader community.

Monumental Stair
Monumental Stair

The Gulch Hub enhances the pedestrian experience on both 11th Avenue and Church Street with a monumental stair mediating the 42-foot elevation difference between the two streets. The monumental stair knits the previously disconnected site together while offering a public amenity to the community.

Unifying four campuses previously spread across the city, the Gulch Hub was designed to provide a dynamic horizontal campus in an urban environment. The 550,0000-square-foot complex is composed of two interconnected buildings, a nine-story north building and an eight-story south building. The two buildings are connected with a shared landscaped podium and sky bridges on the fifth and seventh floors. The two buildings are further connected by a series of terraces providing views between the volumes and levels.

A generous motor court welcomes vehicular traffic to the east entrance where Employees and visitors enter a two-story lobby that bridges the north and south buildings.

Workplace Interiors Amenity space

Designed to support a wide range of departments and workstyles, the global office offers teams and individuals choice and flexibility. On the first floor, the Town Hall space provides a variety of postures to accommodate dining, meeting or working. At the southwest corner of the ground floor, the Pavilion brings the outdoors in with floor-to-ceiling glass, and two, twenty-foot-wide sections of operable window wall.

The office supports employees in spaces that range from large communal gathering spaces and food halls to micro-markets, coffee bars, board and meeting rooms, game room, repair lounge, secure command center and a fitness center. Biophilic design strategies and access to over 80,000-square-feet of outdoor green space improve the wellness of users in and outside the building.
