HASTINGS, ranked #3 Top 50 firm by ARCHITECT Magazine is seeking a BIM Manager to support the implementation, management, and optimization of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes firmwide. This role bridges technical expertise with collaborative leadership, working alongside project teams to ensure efficient workflows, adherence to company standards, and successful delivery of BIM-enabled projects. The BIM Manager will report to the Director of Design Technology.


The Role


BIM Standards & Workflow Management:
• Ensure and enhance firm-wide BIM standards, content, and workflows.
• Support project teams in adhering to BIM requirements, protocols, workflows, and quality standards.
• Support team BIM leads in developing and maintaining BIM Execution Plans (BEP).
• Administer Autodesk Construction Cloud platform, including project setup and maintenance.
Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
• Provide technical support and maintenance of core design technologies.
• Act as the primary point of contact for BIM-related queries and issues.
• Expertise in complex modeling, data management, analysis, and optimization for architectural designs.
Training & Development:
• Facilitate training sessions to upskill project teams in BIM tools and processes.
• Support the onboarding of project participants regarding BIM.
• Document lessons learned and best practices to inform future projects.
Innovation & Technology Integration:
• Drive adoption of digital delivery methods and new technologies across projects.
• Maintain current knowledge of design software, industry developments in digital practice, and applicable techniques.
• Evaluate, recommend, and integrate new technologies, tools, and workflows to enhance digital delivery capabilities - including automation, data-driven design, and AI-assisted processes.
• Coordinate integration of BIM with other digital tools and AEC platforms.
Collaboration & Communication:
• Provide leadership and support to project teams on BIM and digital delivery practices.
• Liaise between project teams and leadership to align BIM strategies with organizational goals.
• Represent the BIM team in client meetings as needed.
• Facilitate coordination meetings to resolve BIM issues and optimize workflows.


The Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in BIM/3D Modeling, VDC, standards, or document management.
• Advanced knowledge of Autodesk Revit required.
• Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud, Rhino, AutoCAD, Sketchup, AR/VR, and other architectural/design software preferred.
• Experience with Dynamo, Grasshopper, Python, or other scripting/programming tools for process automation preferred.
• Strong understanding of BIM standards and project delivery methods.
• Advanced knowledge of architectural standard documentation and project development across all design phases.
• Familiarity with visualization tools (e.g., Enscape, Twinmotion).
• Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts or experience integrating AI tools into design or project delivery workflows is a plus.
