GEODIS Park wins AIA Middle Tennessee Merit Award

GEODIS Park won a merit award at the AIA Middle Tennessee 2023 Design Awards.

AIA Middle Tennessee honors the remarkable work that architects are doing in our communities. The annual Celebration
of Architecture awards ceremony was held at the Parthenon on October 19, 2023.

The judges found that this, "project stood out in its category as one that, while large, had a clear and well executed diagram that relies on a standard truss to do the heavy lifting. The jury was intrigued by the design team's ability to execute such a project while holding on to the simple and quiet parti - a task that all architects know is harder than it looks. Additionally, the pockets of unique program such as the stage and the section that has the field level below the entry level all suggest that this would be a great place to spend an evening."

Standing at the heart of the Nashville Fairgrounds Redevelopment Master Plan, GEODIS Park, home to Nashville’s Soccer Club, captures the energy and dedication of Nashville fans with a design reminiscent of the site’s industrial past that is thoughtfully responsive to the surrounding residential neighborhood.
