News Channel 5 Features Donelson Library

We are excited to share that NewsChannel 5 recently featured Donelson Library, celebrating its commitment to sustainability and innovative civic design.

Opened in June 2024, Donelson Library was honored with a Green Good Design Award, recognizing its forward-thinking, environmentally conscious approach. From the mid-century-inspired breezeblock entrance to the use of thoughtful, durable materials, the library reflects a future-focused vision for community spaces that are built to last.

As part of the feature, HASTINGS’ own Emilee Wilson Hamm was interviewed, offering insight into the design process and the sustainable strategies that shaped the new library.
