Emilee is a licensed architect at HASTINGS and holds a Bachelor of Architecture from The University Tennessee College of Architecture + Design. After graduating in 2017, Emilee served as a construction coordinator with Habitat for Humanity in Castle Country, Utah before joining HASTINGS later that year, bringing her passion for service and design back to her home state.

Raised in rural Tennessee, Emilee developed a strong sense of place, respect for the environment, and a knack for getting her hands dirty. Emilee continually seeks to understand architecture's impact on both the social and natural worlds in her professional career. She is a LEED Green Associate and Living Future Accredited with the International Living Future Institute. Emilee currently serves on the board of Edgehill Neighborhood Partnership, volunteers with the Nashville Public Library, and helps organize the HASTINGS' community outreach efforts through HASTINGS Helps.

Continually fascinated by how craft and function meet, Emilee's design intuition extends from the built environment to folk art. She can often be found working with a variety of media and textiles, most often quilting, experimenting with dyes, and creating her own clothing.
