As an Associate Principal and HASTINGS’ Director of Quality Assurance, Paul oversees all aspects of Quality Management and Quality Assurance technical staff. With 33 years of project experience, Paul brings a wealth of industry knowledge and expertise to his role. Over the past decade, Paul has served in a full-time Quality Management role and development of all QA systems and procedures. Working with our Director of Design Technology and technical staff, Paul has helped develop our internal project and BIM standards related to all documentation procedures. In addition, Paul develops and oversees all project specifications and works with each project team to ensure product selections match design intent and overall building performance.

Paul collaborates with all our project teams providing expertise in project documentation and building envelope detailing. Having served as a Project Architect and Senior Project Manager for numerous projects, Paul has vast experience in consultant coordination, building codes, construction document detailing, building envelope, construction administration, and BIM systems management. His meticulous supervision is a resource for all teams and projects, and ultimately fosters design and construction excellence.

Paul is an active member of the American Institute of Architects and the Construction Specifications Institute. He is both Construction Documents Technologist certified and a LEED Green Associate.

Growing up a mere thirty miles north of Nashville, Music City is in Paul’s blood. His scrupulous record-keeping puts his attendance at close to 500 concerts over his lifetime and he has no intention of stopping any time soon. When not in front of the stage, you’ll find Paul crouched over a drawing set, on the golf course, or lounging oceanside in the Florida panhandle.
