Sarah is an Architect at HASTINGS. Growing up, her travels throughout the Midwest and Southeast sparked a fascination with design and structure, evoking a sense of wonder when she encountered a new skyline or city for the first time. She spent her time experimenting with unique materials and participating in sports. It wasn't until her college years that she realized her passion for creating, teamwork, and the built environment made her a natural fit for architecture.

After receiving her master's degree at the University of Kentucky, she started her career in Ohio and shortly after moved to Tennessee. Since moving to Tennessee, she has become a licensed Architect and worked on many projects including 805 Lea, Peabody Union, and Hyatt Caption. Recently she joined the Hastings TACO team focusing on BIM efficiencies and project organization.  Sarah still plays recreational sports including the Hastings sand volleyball team. She enjoys woodworking, crafting, and DIY tasks in her spare time around her West Nashville home. Most of these hobbies now center around her and her husband's two children.
