Chris Davis
Associate Principal, AIA

The son of an architect, Chris has been working in design since an unlawfully young age. Chris grew up in Brentwood, Tennessee. While studying Finance at Belmont University, he was drawn to the Arts Department where he rediscovered his creative roots in furniture design and fabrication. Chris continued to graduate with a Master of Architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago. His years in Chicago, including a study program in Barcelona, became the foundation for a lifelong dedication to exploring the great urban environments around the world.

Chris joined HASTINGS in 2010. Since then, he has led and managed a wide range of award-winning projects that shape his home city of Nashville, Tennessee, including the renovation and expansion of the famed Ryman Auditorium and the restoration and renovation of the Bridge Building. Mask House demonstrates Chris’s commitment to understanding and expressing his client’s values in his work. Chris serves on the Board of the Civic Design Center.

Chris is an early riser, whether for exercise, reading, or catching up on international soccer matches.  You can find him cheering on his kids at Saturday sporting events.
