Adams and Reese relocates to Broadwest

Large image 1
Adams and Reese has been enjoying their new progressive workplace inside Broadwest on West End Avenue. The design of the new office for this global law firm skillfully balances the traditional with the unconventional.

Visitors receive a bold first impression between the all-black elevator lobby and the reception area flooded with natural light. Graphic installations throughout the space are inspired by the company itself. A large steel map of the world wraps the corner of the reception area and features magnetic markers that show the firm's impressive reach across the globe. And a black and white photography gallery showcases the locales of Adams and Reese offices across the US.

The use of limestone throughout the space nods to Tennessee’s natural landscape, while walnut accents and greenery offset the hard stone surfaces. Dark steel doors are set against floor-to-ceiling walnut built in bookshelves. Glass-clad conference rooms offer unobstructed views of the Nashville skyline. The lounge design is inspired by burning a cigar, employing a warm palette with layers of amber-toned leather, velvet, and dark wood. Repurposed oil paintings, each with a story that reaches back to the firm's history, evoke the sense of a library turned tavern.
