Today in Charlotte, our team celebrated the topping out of 110 East!

110 East is located at the corner of Camden and East Blvd in the South End neighborhood of Charlotte. It will be the first new office building constructed at a LYNX Station as part of Charlotte’s mass transit system. The building rises 23 stories and includes office, 5,750 square feet of retail, and 900 parking spaces. The design is inspired by South End’s pioneering spirit and history of textiles, enhancing the movement and activity spilling off the rail station.

Coordination and collaboration with the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) was critical in assuring a seamless transition between the rail platform, ground floor retail, and the plaza space that fronts East Boulevard. The state-of-the-art building is pursuing WiredScore Certification, a commercial real estate rating system that improves and promotes a building’s digital infrastructure. Garnering certification ensures a building is tech-forward and prepared for the next generation of business tenants. The interior design focuses on using art to guide its users throughout the space while maximizing captivating views of the uptown skyline and surrounding neighborhoods.
