Blaine Kimbrough

Blaine is a Associate Principal at HASTINGS and has led the project management of several large-scale and technically complex projects. His expertise, keen eye towards design, and skill for orchestrating multi-disciplinary teams result in delivering detailed and thorough project deliverables.

Blaine often attributes his passion for architecture and constant desire to help create better environments from living abroad during his youth. In his time abroad, Blaine was exposed to and inspired by the diverse urban environments and architectural legacies that reflect centuries of adaptation and evolution as a reflection of their culture.

He received his architectural education at Auburn University's College of Architectural Design and Construction, where he obtained a dual degree in Architecture and Interior Architecture.

Blaine's career began in New York City, where he helped create environments and experiences for residential, interiors, commercial retail, and office projects. These design visions and narratives manifested into environments that reflect their client's stories and contextual resolutions.  Blaine then returned to his wife's native city of Nashville, where he continued work on similar project types with outstanding Nashville firms.  In 2011, he joined HASTINGS and has been committed to leading successful projects of various scales.

He full-heartedly believes good architecture results from good stewardship, well-led efforts, and complete trust in the design processes to reach the most successful outcomes for all.

Outside the office, Blaine can be found enjoying scenic twisty routes of backcountry two-lane highways on his Ducati or on a family bike ride or hike near Percy Warner taking full advantage of Nashville's wonderful outdoor environments and park systems.
